So I have watched this Iron Man 3, we've been waiting for a long time. If you haven't watched it, you just miss a part of your life. Here's the storyline for those unable to watch.

STORYLINE:
The story started from a flashback of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr. ) before he became what he is in the current time. He is still dating a girl named Maya Hansen (Rebecca Hall) and a weird nerd guy appeared to them in the celebration because it was New Year's eve. Tony Stark, being a playful, didn't mind the guy and just promised to meet him in the rooftop later. But of course Tony Stark didn't mind that and just stay in the room with Maya. When suddenly the plant leaves exploded. They were surprised but they only thought it was the fireworks. The poor guy waiting in the rooftop for Tony Stark is the guy who will be the next villain.
Current year: Tony Stark is busy on his suit with new functionality, it's like a magnetism, where he just think about it and his suit fragments will fly and stick to him wherever the suit pieces located. But of course practice makes perfect. On his trial it failed because the speed of the suit pieces is so fast that it has great impact to him whenever it attaches to him. Also, he created his suit like a robot that it could function itself even without controlling inside.

And so Mandarin shows on the Television capturing a friend of the president and block mailed the president to call him to save his friend's life. And so, the president called, but the Mandarin still killed the person. He said that no one can stop him. That's why Tony Stark was being interrogated by a lot of people because he was known as the Iron Man or the hero. They are asking what will he do about the Mandarin. Tony Stark, answered and told his address to public.
In the other day, Maya, visited Tony Stark on his house want to tell something about the Mandarin. But they were attacked by the Mandarin, a lot of missiles came to his house, Tony Stark used his new functionality, but he used it to Pepper Potts to protect her. Pepper Potts, wearing the Iron Man suit carried Maya away from the house as what Tony Stark commanded her. After that, by using again Tony Stark's power, he get the suit by using only his mind, and it attached to him. Now he's wearing the suit, their house is in total destruction, his Iron Man suits displays are destroyed. He fell in the water, tangled by the wires, he almost drown, but Jarvis, saved him. His hand suit piece detached from Iron Man, pulled himself out of the water in a very fast and uncontrollable speed. They landed to a different landmark almost near to location of Mandarin. There, he found a child boy, who helped him to fix his suit. In that place, he was been traced by Mandarin's people. They have powers, fire, by just using their mind also, they can release fire from their body and they are lot stronger, they cannot be easily defeated, and when unfortunate, they explode when overused.
Tony Stark went to Mandarin's hide out, and he was embarrassed to find out that Mandarin was a fraud. He was just used by the real villain to hide his identity in public. Mandarin, was actually so noisy and acts like an immature. And he found out that the real villain was the nerd guy before. He was captured but using his mind power, he again gained his suit after he fix it and left it in the child's house. Then the Iron Patriot, who was controlled by Rhodes, was taken by the villain and used it to capture the president and hung him in a construction site on the sea. Tony Stark used his last alas to kill all powerful people there. He have hidden a hundred of robot armor suit under his house and he called them all at once. Rhodes saved the president, while Tony Stark is looking for Pepper who was captured by the villain and experimented on her. Pepper now is supernatural, she also have the fire power. In the end. Tony Stark saved the world, after how many times combat with the villain and failed and lose but then he used his suit to cover the villain and used self destruct/explosion. After that night. He hugged Pepper Potts and all of his armor suits, he commanded to explode them all, and they all look like fireworks in the sky while exploding. The other days, Tony Stark went to an operation to take out the virus in his heart and so he will now never wear the arc reactor since it brings bad effect on him, if you watched the Iron Man 2, and also Pepper went on an operation and they all back into normal. Tony Stark said "I am Iron Man".

The film has some cliché moments which can't be avoided often with a film this scale however they make use of them well and still pack plenty of surprises. As well as this, despite not being a proper Trekkie myself, some moments gave me goosebumps from the awesomeness from seeing the Enterprise for the first time for example, which greatly honoured the original series. J.J. Abrams' lens flares helped create more realism in a lot of the scenes despite the fact he often overuses of them.
The villain was very interesting and the development, dialogue and motivations of his character were very convincing and inventive, Cumberbatch's fantastic acting greatly helped bring this character to life. Also the way he executed his plan showed a lot more cutting edge creativity than especially most modern blockbusters, not to say it's done nearly to the same level of genius but something I haven't felt in a villain's characterisation/acting since The Dark Knight.
Overall, a mesmerising film with nice homages to the original series, one filled with heart, grace, innovation, superb characters and acting and some impressive, clever visuals and immersive 3D, one of the only times I can say that. Up there with the 2009 one, not sure which I prefer, possibly the previous one largely due to the more clever story, despite this one having a much better villain, still not sure though. Still a very strongly recommended film, may hit my top 100 simply because how much I was impressed by it. 9/10!
